AVOID AT ALL COSTS! NO WARRANTY SUPPORT!
I STRONGLY SUGGEST CONSIDERING ANOTHER BRAND! Avoid Dolphin/Maytronics as their post sale service and warranty claim is impossible. I bought this pool vacuum about a year ago, worked great but it suddenly stopped working last week. I thought it’d be no big deal as it’s under warranty, but I was very wrong.
I tried to call customer service but no one answers, I tried contacting them by email, got one response instructing me to follow a link to get it repaired. I’m unable to complete the form in the link as it requires a USA address and I’m located in Canada. Responded to the email again but did not get any response. It’s been over a week, and their website claims they will respond “within 2 business days”
I honestly regret purchasing from this company, its the middle of summer and I have no way to claim my warranty, or even get a response out of them. They have no sense of urgency and their service is horrible considering the price you pay for their products

Wow best year for a clean pool
The best pool robot I have owned. I have always had the bug but this year decided to take the plunge. I do not need to waste money on wifi controlled or battery operated under powered cleaners. I have a 27’ pool and it is sparkling clean this year. Yes we did purchase. The better filter as others have recommended and it makes a huge difference. It never tangles, climbs up the sides and just cleans. I never leave it in the pool and remove it and place it in the garage after every use. The filters get emptied and debris removed, then rinsed and washed. I am very, very happy with this model and glad it was highly recommended to me by many reviews on the web and our local pool supplier that had none in stock.

App & remote function doesn't work
We bought this unit over other brands because of the feature to control it with an app and because it says the cord wouldn’t tangle. The app doesn’t connect and despite sending emails we have not had any contact back about this. The cord tangles. The unit cleans the pool ok but we could have paid less for a different brand.

While this product is “pool ready”, my completely normal small/medium size pool was a challenge for this robot to map and clean. It focuses all its time in one quadrant area and the walls, while the floor remains littered with leaves. Very unsatisfied and their return policy is a pain so pretty much stuck with it.

This is a good little vacuum with a nice basket system that’s easy to clean and take in and out.
My only real complaint is that it doesn’t handle stairs at all. It does a good job on the bottom and the sides up to the water line, but it will not go up any stairs. My stairs are very wide as well as the picture shows. My old Nautilus CC Plus vacuum easily cleaned the stairs but not this model.
Still recommend it though.

Perfect for above ground pools
I didn’t find a lot of reviews and only saw a couple of youtube videos of it operating in an above ground pool so I was a little skeptical at first. It works fantastic and climbs the walls to do the waterline perfectly. It has enough suction to climb the wall and come back over on itself without falling off. I was very impressed. Super easy to operate and clean out. I would suggest adding an ultrafine filter to your order for the fine sand and algae that may creep in. The filters are standard for a few different units and made by a couple different manufacturers so you can find one for around $100. Altogether, best thing I’ve bought for our pool. 18’x33’x52″ pool for reference.

Great Time saver
Got the Dolphin E20 after my previous pool cleaner stopped working and based on a recommendation from my neighbour. I had been expensing loads of energy and wasted time dragging the hose around for a couple months to vacuum my pool. This unit was truly the best investment I made since deciding to put in my pool. Cleans the pool thoroughly, including the side walls up to the water’s edge within 3hrs which allows me time to do other things. Easy to clean and stow. My only disappointment is the Bluetooth capabilities and mobile app have limited features, are not the greatest and don’t work very well. You have to be 3 feet max away from the unit with your phone for the app to connect to the Robot and when it does some of the features don’t work.

I have had it now for a couple weeks to give a honest opinion of this pool cleaner. It’s just ok. I think I would have left a 3.5 if the rating system would let me. Cons : The Dolphin cleaner misses LOTS of places, and one spot in my pool in particular. Its great a picking up bugs and small leaves but with the finer particles, the propeller just kicks up the dust and an hour after, it just settles back down. Ridiculous to charge for a “better” screen, should be included in a thousand dollar machine. Pro : it works for the most part. Just the fact that there is movement in the pool helps. Prolongs the time between manual cleaning. Note: Dolphin (Maytronics) will NOT honor the rebate if you purchased from Amazon.
