ProSalt Replacement Cell (40k Gal) – Works with AC Cell 15

Review

My salt cell died and I thought I would give this one a try. It was a simple plug and play installation on my Hayward OmniLogic panel. It’S currently working without issue.I will update my review if things change.

Installed as a direct replacement for the current T-Cell15 from Hayward. No config required, just a salt calibration reset as you would normally do. Worked perfectly. Time will tell for longevity as a comparison.

The cell arrived on schedule and was installed and working within 15 minutes. No adjustments or settings to configure simple plug and play.

Livraison rapide , facile d’installation , fonctionne bien , produit du chlore rapidement . J’espère que la cellule T15 va durer aussi longtemps que la cellule T15 Hayward originale ( 6 ans ).Update : J’ai eu un petit ennui ( mai 2024 ) avec ma cellule T15 achetée en août 2023. Le problème a été rapidement résolu en communiquant avec le service à la clientèle de Discount Pool Supply qui est très très efficace et courtois .

I was unsure at first using this replacement cell for my Hayward system. Sure enough, once delivered it was as simple as taking my previous cell out and replacing it, and to be up and running immediately. I should note that I contacted their customer support and was amazed with how helpful they are. Never did I feel that if the product wasn’t up to my standards, that I would be left in the dark. Would recommend 10/10

Came in a few days, as expected. Looks identical (other than branding) to the Hayward unit that had died. Same material, same quality of manufacture (at least to the eye).Installed exactly the same, no leaks.Turned it on and calibrated for salt, it came up with a very close reading to the water analysis done by my pool store. Started generating chlorine right away and in fact I had to turn it down. I think this is likely due to the old one having been turned up as it was fading away but i’m not sure.Anyway, a couple weeks later and it still going great. I’m pretty happy. Will definitely update this if it dies prematurely.

Vert ráy to change án ít works well to keep my swimming pool water clear without algae.I don’t know if it going to last as long as the original ( more or less 10 seasons of 5 months/year) in Canada.
