We have very hard water and usually spend hundreds of dollars on chemicals to get the rust out of the water, this pump and filter did it in less then 24 hours. Worth the money, it works great for our 18 foot pool.

Great pool pump
This has been the best investment for our 16′ round pool. It’s made a massive difference in the water quality. Our pool came with a skimmer style pump that just didn’t do the proper job. I connected the sand pump from the skimmer(took out part of the pump inside) to the outtake that was previously installed.Only problem with connection is that it didn’t come with extra hoses( I thought it was supposed to). So be prepared to buy connection hoses.Overall we are VERY happy with this purchase. Now we just need a pool heater to extend our swim season!

Pool was great, but we were constantly buying filter cartridges and cleaning the pool, even though it was just the two of us – no kids. This year we purchased the Aqua Coastal 14″ Sand Filter 1/2 HP pump. Probably a bit of overkill, but it works very well compared to the filter that came with the pool. We’ve had almost no issues with ph / chlorine / alkalinity being out of whack and only once have we had an issue with cloudy water.There have been a few heavy rainstorms this summer that made the water level higher than it should have been. It was easy to get rid of the excess water using the Waste mode. And, we’re still on the original bag of sand, almost 3 months after installation and use.We are very happy with this sand filter pump.

If you are still using a cartridge filter and contemplating switching to this sand filter/pump, I highly recommend.. keeps my 22’ diameter (52” depth) pool clean.. was not sure the 1/2 h pump would be enough but it is. It is very easy to operate.. now I can spend more time enjoying the pool instead of cleaning it 😊👍👍Pump arrived and I am so far very happy with it. Initially I thought the sand filter was not going to work because you cannot see the pump and pool ports open or close when you change the settings BUT all works as it is supposed to. I had considered returning the pump when I couldn’t figure out the operation of it but the company called me directly and walked me through it. Great customer service.I have a 22’ round Coleman pool and this pump is definitely circulating tge water better than the cartridge filter pump that it came with!

It was easy to get rid of the excess water using the Waste mode. And, we’re still on the original bag of sand, almost 3 months after installation and use.We are very happy with this sand filter pump.

Great pool pump
This has been the best investment for our 16′ round pool. It’s made a massive difference in the water quality. Our pool came with a skimmer style pump that just didn’t do the proper job. I connected the sand pump from the skimmer(took out part of the pump inside) to the outtake that was previously installed.Only problem with connection is that it didn’t come with extra hoses( I thought it was supposed to). So be prepared to buy connection hoses.Overall we are VERY happy with this purchase. Now we just need a pool heater to extend our swim season!

This came quicker than expected, the assembly was pretty straight forward and didn’t take us to much time, and with in 48 hours we were able to hop in the pool! We are very pleased with it and are so grateful to have our pool back up and running in time for the canadian heat waves!

UPDATE! If you are still using a cartridge filter and contemplating switching to this sand filter/pump, I highly recommend.. keeps my 22’ diameter (52” depth) pool clean.. was not sure the 1/2 h pump would be enough but it is. It is very easy to operate.. now I can spend more time enjoying the pool instead of cleaning it 😊👍👍Pump arrived and I am so far very happy with it. Initially I thought the sand filter was not going to work because you cannot see the pump and pool ports open or close when you change the settings BUT all works as it is supposed to. I had considered returning the pump when I couldn’t figure out the operation of it but the company called me directly and walked me through it. Great customer service.I have a 22’ round Coleman pool and this pump is definitely circulating tge water better than the cartridge filter pump that it came with!

Just got this system very good but the only thing is that there isn’t a shut-off button on it you have to unplug it from the outlet but other than that works amazing highly recommend buying this

Aqua Costal 14″ 1/2 HP Sand Filter
Last year we treated ourselves (hubby & I) to a Bestway Steel Pro Max above ground pool 12′ x 39.5″. The pool holds 2000 litres / 530 gallons of water. Pool was great, but we were constantly buying filter cartridges and cleaning the pool, even though it was just the two of us – no kids. This year we purchased the Aqua Coastal 14″ Sand Filter 1/2 HP pump. Probably a bit of overkill, but it works very well compared to the filter that came with the pool. We’ve had almost no issues with ph / chlorine / alkalinity being out of whack and only once have we had an issue with cloudy water.There have been a few heavy rainstorms this summer that made the water level higher than it should have been. It was easy to get rid of the excess water using the Waste mode. And, we’re still on the original bag of sand, almost 3 months after installation and use.We are very happy with this sand filter pump.

Works great
We have very hard water and usually spend hundreds of dollars on chemicals to get the rust out of the water, this pump and filter did it in less then 24 hours. Worth the money, it works great for our 18 foot pool.
